Here’s how I’ve described “The Lupine’s Call” to potential readers.
Richard Parsons has a drinking problem, and when he walks out on an argument he finds himself in trouble with more than his girlfriend. Just how much trouble can a drunken lupine (werewolf) get into?
The story follows on from “Under A Hunter’s Moon” and is the second short story in the “Shadows Over Seattle: Prequels”. The prequels are a collection of short stories that explore historical events preceding the events of “Of Wolves and Men“. Each story focuses on an event in the life of one of the major players in “Of Wolves and Men”.
